Return to Me,” says the LORD of hosts,

and I will return to you,” says the LORD of hosts.

thesovereignword:

There’s a lie the devil just loves: that in order to get to heaven, one only has to be a generally “good person”. He loves this lie because it gets people to hell very fast and without much trouble on his part at all.

But this is not what the Bible teaches.

We have all sinned and we all stand guilty before God - there’s not any good deeds we can do that will wipe the slate clean. Being a “good person” won’t save us because we can’t atone for our own guilt. We can’t fix the problem.

That’s why Jesus had to die for us.

He was literally taking the punishment we deserved from God onto Himself and becoming the sacrifice for our sins.

That’s why the only way to heaven is through a saving relationship with Jesus Christ - through repentance and belief in God’s only Son.

If you don’t know Him, here’s how.
